"August Williams - One of Mobile's Darlings"
Karen Rhea White will enact the first person story of a resident of Mobile illustrating women’s roles in the South during the 1800s especially their strengths and contributions to the Nation.
Karen was born in Louisville, Kentucky and remained there until she retired in 2011, moving to Fairhope. She is married to Mike and they recently celebrated their 39th anniversary. They have 2 children: their daughter is an Associate Attorney General for the state of Maryland and their son is a Sargent with the Sheridan Police Department in Colorado. Karen thoroughly enjoys sharing stories of courageous women.
