Water Pollution Above and Below Ground
This informational talk by Dr. Herron will focus on groundwater pollution and its interface with surface water in general. the most recent local public data from Fairhope and the area and its sources will be shared. Emerita Associate Professor, Dr. Sherry S. Herron, continues to serve as the GLOBE Partner for the University of Southern Mississippi (www.globe.gov) and serves as a Baldwin County Master Environmental Educator. She was the Director of the Center for Sciences and Mathematics Education at USM for 15 years, during which time she mentored 62 Doctoral graduates, 58 Masters graduates, and over 100 pre-service biology teachers. She began her teaching career at Fairhope Middle School and is happy to be back after retirement.
