VOLUNTEER

The work of the Fellowship happens through the diligent and creative efforts of our members  and friends. Scroll down for more information about how to get invovled. 

SUNDAY SERVICE VOLUNTEER ROLES

Greeter - This volunteer greets members and guests as they enter the lobby. They pass out the Order of Service and encourage new guests to sign in. Find out more by contacting Rodney Hoffman, chair of the Membership Committee or signing up on Sunday.

 

Program Tech* - This volunteer runs the PowerPoint projector and Zoom presentation. Find out more by contacting the Sunday Program Committee. *This position requires some training. 

Audio Tech* - This volunteer runs the audio system for the program. Find out more by contacting the Phil Strniste, Building Chair of the Building & Grounds Committee. *This position requires some training.

Chalice Lighter - This volunteer lights the chalice. This is a wonderful role for new members. Chalice lighters are called up to light the chalice, make a brief (1-2 minute) statement  before they light the chalice. The statement can align with one of the seven principles but does not need to align with the day's program. Reader - This volunteer offers a short reading on the topic of the week. Find out more by contacting the Sunday Reader Chair of the Sunday Program Committee

Music - This volunteer arranges for musicians each week. They may also be a regular musician themselves. This is another great role for new members and folks who have connections with local musicians. Find out more by contacting the Gwen Snyder, Music Chair of the Arts & Entertainment Committee

Collection - These volunteers conduct the collection of donations during the service and count the number of attendees. They deliver the collection and attendance information to the Treasurer for deposit. Find out more by contacting Maggie Joffe, treasurer and chair of the Finance & Budget Committee.

Hospitality - These volunteers make coffee, set out snacks, and clean up following the service. This is a great role for new members and folks who enjoy a more "behind the scenes" role. Volunteers sign up to work once a month.  Find out more by contacting the Hospitality Chair of the Sunday Program Committee

Children's Fellowship*- These volunteers supervise and educate children who attend Fellowship services . *This volunteer position requires training and a background check. Find out more by contacting the Allyson Russell, chair of the Education & Youth Committee

Pantry- These volunteers move the donated pantry items to the back room and fill the pantry on Sunday after the service. Find out more by contacting the Don Joffe, Pantry Chair of the Social Action Committee
