What
Do You Know about UU?
Member Classes Begin in Late January
Members, Friends, and anyone
considering membership in the Fairhope Unitarian Fellowship are invited to
sign up for a series of three informative New Member Classes, to be held Wednesdays,
January 18 and 25 and February 1, 6:30-8 p.m. at the Fellowship. Class size
will be limited. Please sign up promptly. Attendees should be available for
all three sessions. Classes, led by Membership Chair Ruth Geraci and guest
participants, will include the history of Unitarian Universalism, our Seven
UU Principles and our Mission, information about the Fairhope Fellowship and
how it operates (including its famous multitude of committees) as well as
opportunities to hear from other FUF members about how they came to Unitarian
Universalism. The role of the national Unitarian Universalist Association
will be examined. Handouts will provide additional information and resources.
No strings are attached to Membership Class attendance. As Unitarian Universalists,
we do not proselytize; we simply share our own understandings of
UU and invite others of like mind to join us in discussion and inquiry.
To sign up for the three classes, email uuruthg@gulftel.com or call Ruth at
251-970-3407.
